We had another great day on the Stockport Carnival on the 25th July - and our float won first prize for best dressed float in the category. Many thanks to all the Kites members who worked very very hard to make this happen (especially to the ladies who made masses of fish!). Once again thanks to Tony and William Kirk Transport for providing the horsepower, to Paul for the scaffolding making us safe, and to our headline sponsors Specsavers who made a huge contribution to our funds which will allow us to buy some new stage curtains.
